develop your career
EIT InnoEnergy understands that academic staff is an important pillar in achieving its goals. Any nation’s development depends on its educational system and teachers are expected to be the European Community builders. The role of teachers in the process of transforming MSc Programs should never be underestimated; competent and knowledgeable academics are an important strength of any educational institution.
EIT InnoEnergy presents this Teacher Benefit (TB) project – based on educational grants – as a first step in implementing a pedagogical evolution in its partner universities. TB has been executed twice – in 2015 and 2016. So 2017 is the 3rd round of the project, and we’re looking to make it the most successful yet!
Accepted proposals will receive 5,000 euro grant-based rewards. An additional 2,000 euro bonus could be awarded for outstanding proposals. The total benefit for authors of the best proposals is thus 7,000 euro!
Goal and scope
The major goal is to implement a teacher reward system using tools to supply sufficient modifications in improving teaching skills and implementing teaching techniques in courses according to EIT Master School goals. The TB is set to strengthen modern and perspective pedagogical approaches. Teachers should regard grants as an opportunity for professional development and support to fulfill their ambitions in pedagogy.
The target pedagogical approaches in this project are:
- Project-based learning
- Case teaching.
